Call for Project Ideas:                                                Improving Animal Welfare in Canada

Swine Innovation Porc has joined forces with the Canadian Pork Council to support new research and development projects that will address specific and targeted welfare priorities. 
Researchers from academia, industry, government or not-for-profit organizations are invited to submit project ideas related to improving swine welfare and assisting the industry to address social responsibility priorities while supporting continued economic viability. 
Please find below more information about this call for project ideas as well as instructions on how to submit:

Completed application forms must be sent to info@swineinnovationporc.ca. The deadline to submit project ideas is December 15, 2020, 4:00 pm EST (Eastern Standard Time).

Poster Session at the 2020 Porc Show

Come visit our virtual poster session at the 2020 Porc Show! Students and researchers from across Canada and beyond will present their scientific posters highlighting results from research on a variety swine-related subjects. We think you will be impressed by this display of latest innovation!

When: November 25, December 3 & 9
Where: The poster session will be available for viewing on the Porc Show virtual platform
How: You must register for the Porc Show to view the posters. Registration is free!

Cash Prizes:
This year, the top three eligible posters will receive cash prizes! The winners will be announced during our free webinar “Carnosine: What is it and what are the benefits?” (see above for more details).
